Many people in society are suffering from lower back issues and hip issues. The main cause of this is due to automation and the amount of time we spend these days sitting down creating biomechanics issues and adaptive shortening in certain muscle groups. This can then create issues when we are standing and active. These issues can also be exacerbated by sports specific activities such as martial arts.
This is a great opportunity to train with one of the founders of TKD and the person that bought it to the UK. Any students that are interested please let me know ASAP.
Battle ropes are an excellent piece of equipment for incorporating into your workout regime. Its great for general conditioning and endurance and core stability for martial arts. take a look at this video of a selection of exercise exercise options.

We are extremely pleased and proud to announce that Alex Cameron a 1st degree black belt from Warwick-TKD has been selected to represent England. Her first championships will be the European Taekwon Do Championships in Finland next month, good luck Alex.

The T-UK black belt grading was held in Stratford Upon Avon at the weekend. Warwick-TKD had a number of people in the grading all of whom were outstanding. They have trained and prepared exceptionally hard which showed on the day as feedback from other instructors attending the event said they stood out from the crowd, we are very proud of all of them:

I am very proud to say that two of our students competed in Sweden this weekend and both bring back medals. Tanya Reid-Moore won gold in sparring and patterns and Alex Cameron won bronze in sparring; well done both of you, excellent results which will boost your confidence for your upcoming gradings.
